Odisha scribes protest attack on Naxatra crew; to meet DGP soon .Condemning the ‘murderous assault’ on the reporter and camera crew of Naxatra News inside the KISS campus here on Sunday last, journalists in the Odisha capital today demanded action against KIIT and KISS authorities. mufp protestProtesting against the attack, journalists of the city, under the banner of Media Unity of Freedom of Press (MUFP), assembled under the ‘Freedom Tree’ in front of Jayadev Bhavan here today and demanded immediate arrest of the culprits.

Shri Panda, a Post Graduate in Economics from JNU, joined Indian Railways in 1987. Shri Panda has had the distinction of serving as Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) at Sambalpur, Bilaspur and Khurda Road and also Chief Safety Officer of East Coast Railway at Bhubaneswar. He has worked in senior positions at Adra, Waltair and Kolkata too, besides a successful tenure as Head of Indian Railways Catering & Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) at Bhubaneswar.
