DAV ZONAL SPORTS MEET -2017 Concluded .
DAV Chandrsekharpur emerged as Athletic champion
Bhubaneswar – 07/11/2017 DAV Public School Chandrasekharpur became the Athletic  champion with 4 gold , 4 silver and 2 bronze models   in the recently  concluded   DAV ZONAL SPORTS MEET -2017 at Dr. A.N.Khosla DAV Public School Rourkela . Preety Rani Swain  1st in 400 mts, 2nd in 800 mts , Abhinab Mohanty 3rd in 100 mts , 2nd in 200 mts , Sandeept Sahoo 1st in Discus , Sahil Biswal 3rd in Long Jump , 
Soumya  Mohanty 2nd in Discus , Soumyakanta Sahoo 1st Shot Put , Preety Rani Swain – Komal Pradhan – Adyasha Jena – Yukta Tanushree 2nd in 4x400 mts Relay  & Tridebesh Nayak 1st in Tae-Kwondo  are the medalists of the school . Preety Rani , Soumya, Abhinab , Sandeept, Tridibesh & Soumyakant will  participate in the DAV National Sports meet by virtue of their performances. More than 50 DAV Public Schools of both Zone- I & Zone – II  participated in the DAV Zonal Sports Meet . DAV CDA Cuttack & DAV Unit-8 emerged as the overall Champion & Runners – up respectively .   The winning Athletes & escorting sports  teacher Mr. A.C.Das   were given a rousing felicitation by The Principal Dr. K.C. Satapathy , Coordinator  Ms. Indira Bhattacharya,  Supervisors & Teachers after their arrival at  the school .
