RESERVATION IN PRIVATE SECTOR, BIHAR DID IT :
WHEN WILL ODISHA : SAMAJWADI PARTY
Bhubaneswar, 6.11 : Bihar Govt. has taken a historic step of implementing 50%
reservation in out sourcing jobs and private sector which was announced by Bihar
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today. Keeping the massive privatization in view Bihar
has taken this steps. Here in Odisha Govt. of Odisha is implementing only 11.25%
OBC reservation in employment and no reservation in the field of admission. Though
SC/ST and OBC population of the step is around 90% the welfare measure taken in
the field of reservation by Govt. of Odisha is not proportionate says Samajwadi Party
State President Rabi Behera in a Press Relase. He has urged the State Govt. to
immediately take steps for implementation reservation in private sector and out
sourcing of job. As you know, massive privatization is taking place at the national
level and Odisha stands third in attracting private capital for industrialization next to
Gujurat and Maharashtra. Possibility of employment opportunity in coming days in
private sector looks bright in Odisha. Hence Govt. of Odisha should take all care for
extending reservation into private sector for SC, ST & OBCs in the State argues Mr.
Behera. He has also requested all MLAs and MPs and Social Justice forces to rise
abvoe political differences for presurizing the Govt. for implementation of reservation
in private sector.
