REVENUE INSPECTOR ARRESTED BY VIGILANCE ON GRAFT CHARGE.

Today i.e. on 24.10.2017, Sri Manmohan Tripathy, Revenue Inspector, Motabali under Buguda Tahasil, Dist. Ganjam  was arrested by the Officers of Vigilance, Berhampur Division, while demanding and accepting illegal gratification of Rs.2,500/- from Sri Himansu Kumar Swain, S/o. Late Bijaya Swain, Vill. Naguda, PS. Buguda, Dist. Ganjam to submit report in respect of genuineness of his legal heir certificate.

Accordingly, a trap was laid today i.e. 24.10.2017 at about 09.25 AM. The accused Sri Tripathy, R.I. was caught red handed at Buguda High School Chhaka, Buguda, while demanding and accepting bribe Rs.2,500/- from the Complt. Sri Swain. The bribe money has been recovered from the possession of Sri Tripathy. His hand & shirt pocket wash gave positive chemical reaction confirming acceptance of bribe. Accused Sri Tripathy has been arrested and will be forwarded to the Court. His residential house at Kapileswarpur Sasan, PS. Buguda, Dist. Ganjam is being searched. Prior to this incident, Sri Tripathy was trapped in Berhampur Vigilance PS case No. 41 dt. 12.11.2014 for demanding Rs.4,000/-, which is now subjudice. 

                   In this connection, Berhampur Vigilance P.S. case No. 51 dt. 23.10.2017 U/s 7 P.C. Act, 1988 has been registered.
