Dr. R.P.Sharma, DGP visited Malkangiri and Koraput District today.

Dr. R.P.Sharma, DGP visited Malkangiri and Koraput District today to review the security situation in the Districts. At Malkangiri Dr. Sharma visited BSF camp at Badapada, a cut-off area of Malkangiri and reviewed the security and anti-Maoist operation in the area. He also interacted with the officers of DVF and SOG there. He emphasised on the proper co-ordination between Central Forces and State Police in the mission. At Koraput, Dr. Sharma reviewed the security situation of the
Districts coming under South Western Range in the office of DIG (SWR). He also interacted with the officers of Central Armed Forces stationed there. In both the meetings Dr. Sharma stressed on the proper co-ordination and intelligence sharing between the Central Armed Forces and State Police.
Sri Sunil Kumar Roy, Director intelligence, Sh. R.P.Koche, IGP Operation, Sh. Asit panigrahi, IGP Crime, IG BSF, DIG SIW, DIG (SWR), Commandant SOG and SsP of the South Western Range were present in the review meeting.
