1)        Report following house Search of Sri Fakir Mohan Jena, Amin, Tahasil Office, Balianta, Dist. Khurda.

             

Basing on the allegation of acquisition of assets disproportionate to the known sources of income by Sri Fakir Mohan Jena, Amin, Tahasil Office, Balianta, Dist. Khurda, his (1) double storied building at Brahmeswarpatna, Bhubaneswar, (2) single storied building at Binoba Nagar, Dist. Puri, (3) paternal house at Kapileswarpur, Trutiyasahi, Brahmagiri, Dist. Puri and (4) Office room in the O/o Tahasildar, Balianta were simultaneously searched today  i.e. on 16.10.2017  by the Officers of Vigilance  Bhubaneswar Division  on the strength of Search Warrants issued by the Hon’ble Court.         

                   Sri Jena started his service career as a copy writer at Settlement office, Puri in the Year 1987 and his service was regularized in 2015 as Amin. At present, he is working as Amin in the O/o Tahasildar, Balianta, Dist. Khurda.   

                   During search, the following approximate movable and immovable assets have been traced out from the possession of Sri Jena and his family members.

          Thus, the total assets of Sri Jena has been calculated as Rs. 1,12,07,207/-so far. The enquiry is in progress.

Sub   :        INSPECTOR OF SUPPLIES CONVICTED IN VIGILANCE CASE FOR POSSESSION OF DISPROPORTIONATE ASSETS.

On 16.10.2017, the Hon’ble Special Judge, Vigilance, Bolangir convicted Sri Kambhu Charan Dash, Ex-Inspector of supplies, Bolangir (Retd.) and sentenced him to undergo R.I for a period of 02 years and to pay fine of Rs.1,00,000/-, in default, to undergo R.I for 06 months for the offence U/s 13(2) r/w 13(1)(e) P.C.Act, 1988.

                   Sambalpur Vig. PS Case No. 67 dt. 31.12.2006 was registered against Sri Dash, Ex-Inspector of supplies for possession of assets disproportionate to the tune of Rs.15,39,543/- (as per FIR) beyond his known sources of income. On completion of investigation, the case was charge sheeted against him to face the trial in the court of law for possessing disproportionate assets amounting to Rs. 17,82,518/- to his known sources of income.
