Bhubaneswar :- DATE: 22 nd October, 2017 (SUNDAY)- THEME: “SKILL DEVELOPMENT & EMPLOYABILITY – AGENDA FOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT”The Institute of Cost Accountants of India has organized CFO & HR Discussion Meet on the theme “Skill Development & Employability – Agenda for Economic Development” on Around 100 high profile dignitaries like DIRECTORS, CMD’s, MD’s,CEO’s,CFO’s, VP’s, DIRECTOR (FINANCE), HR-HEAD’s, SR. GM (FIN) from different Private and Public Sectors have participated actively on the said discussion. Academicians from FM University, PN Autonomous College, VN Autonomous College and Baruneswar Mohavidyalaya also participated in the discussion.

and Placement Committee, The Institute of Cost Accountants of India, CMA Niranjan Mishra, Central Council Member and Chairman, Taxation Committee, The Institute of Cost Accountants of India, CMA Pranab Kumar Chakrabarty, The Institute of Cost Accountants of India- Eastern India Regional Council
and CMA Siba Prasad Kar, The Institute of Cost Accountants of India- hubaneswar graced the function and addressed. The discussion meet was specifically related to enhancement of skill amongst young generation and
thereby enhancing their employability to resolve jobless scenario in the country as an important agenda for economic development. All the dignitaries opined skill development is an essential catalyst for success of all the initiatives of Govt. of India like Make in India, Smart Cities, Digital India, Start up India
etc. It is basis requirement for development of Indian Economy. CMA Sanjay Gupta, President, The Institute of Cost Accountants of India highlighted the role and responsibility of CMAs to make a vibrant India. CMA Manas Kumar Thakur, Chairman, Training & Education Facilities and Placement
Committee, The Institute of Cost Accountants of India highlighted regarding initiations taken by the Institute to make their students and general students for enhancing employability skill. CMA Shiba Prasad Padhi, Member, The Institute of Cost Accountants of India-Regional Council facilitated the entire function in a nice manner. He also highlighted how skill development is required for development of economy of the State and Country.
