Will represent the city at the Grand Finale of the prestigious Sweden India Nobel Memorial Quiz 2017 in Delhi on 11 th October 2017

Bhubaneswar: KIIT Bhubaneswar, won the Bhubaneswar qualifying round of The Sweden
India Nobel Memorial Quiz 2017 held at the KIIT University, Bhubaneswar today.

The team of three comprising Alankar Devta, Sharzab Al-Haque and Abhik Biswas did
their college proud by answering the brain-teasers posed by Quizmaster Seema Chari and
winning the Bhubaneswar finals in which 130 teams had participated. Ms. Josa Karre,
Counsellor & Head of Economic from the Embassy of Sweden handed out the prizes at
the Inter-Collegiate quiz competition which saw avid quizzers from across reputed colleges
and technical institutes of the city and from nearby areas.

Winners of the Bhubaneswar round will represent the city at the National Finals which will be
held at New Delhi on 11 th of October 2017.

Apart from Bhubaneswar, the Quiz will also be held in Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Indore,
Kolkata, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai and Delhi.

The winners of the National quiz will get an all-expenses paid trip to Sweden, where they will
visit headquarters of the partnering companies, Swedish universities and the Nobel Museum.

Partnering companies for SwedenIndia Nobel Memorial Week 2017 are: Atlas Copco,
IKEA, Oriflame, SAAB, Sandvik, Scania,Tetra Pak, Volvo Cars and Volvo Group
