(i)      Report following house Search of Dr. Ranjan Kumar Mohapatra, In-Charge Medical Officer, CHC, Sohella, Dist. Baragarh.

              Basing on the allegation of acquisition of assets disproportionate to the known sources of income by Dr. Ranjan Kumar Mohapatra, In-Charge Medical Officer, CHC, Sohella, Dist. Baragarh, enquiry was taken up by the officers of Vigilance officers, Sambalpur Division. After thorough enquiries, it was ascertained that Sri Mohapatra has accumulated huge assets beyond his known sources of income. Accordingly, search warrants were issued from the Hon’ble Court of Special Judge, Sambalpur and basing on the search warrants, his (1) residential building at Sohella, Baragarh, (2) paternal house at Village/PS. Chhendipada, Angul, (3) Father-in-law’s house at Cuttack Town, Cuttack and (4) office chamber at CHC Sohella, Dist. Baragarh were simultaneously searched today i.e. on 23.08.2017 by the Officers of Vigilance, Sambalpur Division.

         During search, the following approximate movable and immovable assets have been detected from the possession of Sri Mohapatra and his family members.

2.	Approximate cost of one half constructed building consisting of 70 rooms at Sohella.	Rs.	40, 00, 000/-
3.	Cost of 33 Plots at periphery areas of Sohella, Dist. Baragarh and Chhendipada, Dist. Angul.	Rs.	10, 85, 350/-
4.	Cost of one Maruti Zen Car and one Hyundai Creta Car.	Rs.	14, 50, 000/-
5.	Cost of one two wheeler.	Rs.	50, 000/-
6.	Approximate cost of house hold articles.	Rs.	7, 00, 000/-
7.	Approximate cost of Gold ornaments weighing 663 gms..	Rs.	15, 57, 646/-

                   Thus, the total assets of Sri Mohapatra has been calculated as Rs.2,47,74,347/- so far. Deposits in different banks and Post offices and immovable assets in different towns are under verification. The enquiry is in progress.
