JUNIOR CLERK ARRESTED BY VIGILANCE ON GRAFT CHARGE.
Today i.e. on 20.09.2017, Sri Ramesh Kumar Nayak, Junior Clerk, I/c of Development Section, O/o the C.D.P.O., Khandapada, Dist. Nayagarh was arrested by the Officers of Vigilance, Bhubaneswar Division, while demanding and accepting illegal gratification of Rs.2,000/- from Sri Alok Kumar Rout, S/o. Nanda Kishore Rout, Vill. Kanasingi, PS. Khandapada, Dist. Nayagarh for issue of work order for construction of house under Nirman Shramik Pakka Ghar Yojana Scheme.
Accordingly, a trap was laid today i.e. 20.09.2017. The accused Sri Nayak, Junior Clerk was caught red handed in his office room, while demanding and accepting bribe Rs.2,000/- from the Complt. Sri Rout. The bribe money has been recovered from the possession of Sri Nayak. His hand wash gave positive chemical reaction confirming acceptance of bribe. Accused Sri Nayak has been arrested and will be forwarded to the Court. His residential house at Nrusinghpurpatna, PS. Khandapada, Dist. Nayagarh and Office room at Khandapada are being searched.
                   In this connection, Bhubaneswar Vigilance P.S. case No.43 dt.19.09.2017 U/s 7 P.C. Act, 1988 has been registered.
